If your hot tub is free standing (not at foot traffic level) we recommend 1.5 pound density foam with a 4"-2" taper.

If your spa is recessed in a deck, we recommend 2 pound density foam with a 5"-3" taper.
2 lb. foam is much stronger and will give extra protection in case someone accidentally steps on the cover. |
